Sample Packages To Help You Grow Your Business

Sell "Assessment Packages" at your next trade show.

Assessment packages are a great way to market your services and showcase your expertise to prospective clients.  For your next trade show create 2-3 special packages to offer with special "trade show only" pricing. Be sure to have handouts and special signage of these specials at your booth. Include information about all specials in your post show mailings.

Entice attendees to your booth by sending out preconference packages that can be purchased at the show.  Here are a few suggestions on what to offer: 

  • Staff Training with Follow-Up Assessment

Create a "Staff Training Package" that includes a follow-up assessment and report for a special "trade show only" fee. Remember to have a sample of assessments that you offer for trainings as well as copies of reports, charts and graphs that clients will receive. These items will show clients how the training will identify their company and staff needs and offer samples of "Next Step" strategies that you can recommend to create positive change within their organizations.

  • Business Start-Up Packages

Offer a three-month "Consulting/Coaching Package" designed especially for entrepreneurs just starting up their business. Over the course of these three months, walk participants though a "self-assessment process" that looks at their company's core strategies, business planning and organizational capabilities.  Use BreakthroughAssess' first four modules to create your assessments and remember that our Resource Section has plenty of handouts and activities to support your process.  

  • Offer a Boot Camp with a Follow-Up Assessment and Coaching/Consulting Session

Consider offering a comprehensive Bootcamp on a topic that is relevant to your target market. Between sessions or at the Bootcamp's conclusion, have participants take an assessment to evaluate their current skill levels and identify company needs. Schedule a follow-up consultation or coaching session to share assessment results, and use this information to help participants create "Next Step Strategies" to move their companies forward.  Remember to let them know how you can help them implement these strategies.

  • Offer an Assessment as a Door Prize

Candy, flashlights or pens can be cute giveaways. But consider offering something of real value that will open the door to a sales opportunity.  Give a grand prize of an Assessment and Follow-Up Consultation or a Coaching Session. This is a terrific way to develop a relationship with a prospective client, get a testimonial or receive a referral to one of their colleagues who may benefit from your assistance.
